Having always had people's well-being at heart, Jeannie knew she wanted to go into helping relationships from the age of 15. She completed her social work technique in 2014 and has been working for 10 years in this world, which she is passionate about. Dedicated, rigorous, a good listener and empathetic, she is eager to put her professional and interpersonal skills to work for people in need, and particularly enjoys accompanying them in their efforts to have their rights respected.
Originally from Rimouski, Marie-Christie moved to the Gaspé after a long stay in the metropolis, to seize the reins of ReprésentACTION in April 2022. Since then, she has appreciated the fact that her role enables her to mobilize to ensure that the voices of people who are experiencing or have experienced a mental health care journey are heard. Loving and curious about human beings in all their complexity, Marie-Christie is endowed with great sensitivity, a reserved but always sincere way with words, and great empathy. Her ability to bring people together who are first and foremost concerned, and to gain their trust, is matched only by the trust they offer her in return.
A true pillar of the crew, Vicky arrived in Gaspésie in 2019, following an atypical career path that included customer service and team management. Appreciated for her cheerful disposition, meticulous attention to detail and organizational skills, her colleagues are delighted to always be able to count on her, both to orchestrate certain actions and to have a bit of a laugh. Altruistic to the end of her fingernails and always with her heart in her hand, Vicky wants to help her fellow human beings, whether they have two or four legs!
