Becoming a member means being part of a movement. It means believing that things can change… and doing your part to make that happen.
A "we" that believes things can change. A "we" that refuses to let rights take a back seat. A "we" that wants to envision and build mental health care that is even more humane and respectful of rights. This year, we invite you to dream with us... a care journey that suits you!
As we enter an election year in which a new government will need to set the course for mental health policy, we invite you to join us in seizing this opportunity to make our voices heard on what truly matters: access to services, respect for rights, and human dignity.
But for that voice to have meaning, it must come from you, from the grassroots.
That is why Droits et Recours is launching a major consultation initiative that will take place throughout the region over the coming months.
First,*Le Parcours d’Alex* will bring people together. This immersive game invites players to step into the shoes of someone navigating the mental health care system. Through real-life scenarios, it sparks conversation, elicits reactions, and—most importantly—helps identify what works, as well as what needs to change.
Everything we hear in the field will lead up to a major regional consultation day, scheduled for October 2026, where the voices of those affected and stakeholders will come together to reflect, build connections, and propose solutions.
We will amplify these voices. Together with you, we want to bring them to the attention of decision-makers, to influence future decisions and help shape a mental health action plan that truly reflects the people here.
And for that, we need your help.
By taking a few minutes to fill out the 2026 membership form, you’re doing much more than just becoming a member or renewing your membership in our cause—and it’s free:
You help us stay connected with you. Let us know if you’d like to get more involved. Let us know if you’ll be joining us at the general meeting on June 17.
And most importantly, you speak up.
Here are a few questions from a government consultation to help you share your views on prejudice, mental health practices, and what could be more humane and respectful.
Your responses matter. They will inform our thinking, guide our actions, and lend weight to the cause we champion together.
That’s what being a member is all about: it means you’re not alone.
It means being part of a movement.
It means believing that things can change… and doing your part to make that happen.
